Gingerbread Cottage on Greene Square REF: 1083

Located in the north east corner of the historic district, Greene Square reflects the quiet elements of Savannah while only a short stroll to all that the downtown has to offer and it’s wonderful squares. This recently renovated circa 1880 “Gingerbread” cottage features sun- filled rooms with original heart pine floors; and an intimate garden patio to enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner. The main entrance is above street level and overlooks the beautiful square.

 

The front porch is the perfect spot to enjoy a morning coffee or evening refreshment as you view the passersby. The front door opens to a cozy foyer and staircase leading up to two bedrooms. The foyer and upstairs master bedroom both include a wonderful nook with a window seat to enjoy a good book.

 

The open and wide living and dining rooms provide the perfect place to listen to music; watch TV or enjoy your favorite movie. Two decorative fireplaces, original to the house add a cozy touch. Just off these rooms is the fully equipped kitchen that opens to the enclosed private walled patio. If you are fortunate enough to be there in spring, the smell of jasmine that climbs the walls is intoxicating.

 

The large master bedroom has a queen size bed with down comforter and cozy seating area. The adjacent second bedroom features a double bed with down comforter and a custom headboard from an antique mantel.

 

The main upstairs bath has a full claw foot tub with shower for luxurious soaks after enjoying the sights of Savannah or one of the wonderful restaurants.

 

Ample unrestricted parking is right out front and around the square on the well-lit streets. No smoking allowed.

 

Please note that a longer nightly minimum may be required during peak season dates, holidays or special events.

 

 

RATES are based upon a three night minimum stay. A two night stay may be available inside of 30 days at a higher rate.
 
High season dates consist of (excludes holidays or special events): March - mid June, September - mid November
Low season dates consist of (excludes holidays or special events): mid November - February, mid June – August

 
Low Season: $228.80 ($220 with *Cash Discount) per night

Holiday & Special Events: $275.60 ($265 with *Cash discount) per night
 
Rock & Roll Marathon Weekend: $343.20 ($330 with *Cash Discount) per night

All reservations do require a refundable security deposit and a non-refundable processing fee. Fees will vary with online booking.
 
*Rental payments are due twenty days prior to the check in date (no exceptions).  Accepted forms of cash payments are personal checks, cashier`s checks and money orders.  Accepted credit cards are Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express.  If booking within twenty days of check in, full payment via credit card is required.
