RENTAL CONDITIONS - By renting the property, the renter and all guests of the renter agree to the following terms and conditions:
Online Booking
Please note that advertised or quoted rates by phone or email, may have been discounted and may not be available with the online booking system. Refunds will not be given for any price differences between online pricing and special promotions, discounts, etc.
Liability:
The guest agrees to hold harmless the property owners along with Savannah Getaways, and or any associates, and family members from suit or claims of any kind in reference to damaged, lost, stolen or destroyed personal belongings. The guest also agrees to hold harmless the property owners along with Savannah Getaways, and or any associates and family members, from suits or claims of any kind in reference to any and all liabilities due to injuries to occupants, family members, or guests occurring on or about the premises of the above mentioned property and from any disruption to their vacation through “acts-of-God”, force majeure, i.e. civil disturbance, strikes, industrial action, closure of airport, weather conditions or similar events beyond our control.
Payment options
Rental payments are due twenty days prior to the check in date (no exceptions). A discount is available for CASH payments received by the specified due date. Accepted forms of cash payments are personal checks, cashier`s checks and money orders. See listing description for discounted cash pricing. Accepted credit cards are Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. If booking within twenty days of check in, full payment via credit card is required. A $25 fee will be accessed for any returned checks.

Please note that there are no refunds for partial stays, early checkouts, or late arrivals. This time has been reserved for you.
Self-Catering Accommodations
Please note that the property you have rented is a self-catering accommodation. Basic amenities are provided at the property as a courtesy to help make your stay more enjoyable. Additional items are not brought in at request. It is recommended that you bring any and all personal needs such as soap, shampoo, hair dryers, food items, etc.. A starter supply of linens and towels are provided but it is not a bad idea to bring back ups depending upon the size of your party or your daily routines.
Cancellation policy
Any changes or cancellation must be done within a specified time period (specified on listing page) prior to the check in date. If the cancelled reservation was booked through the online reservation system, the reservation processing fee, a $75 cancellation fee and 4% of the processed payment are deducted from the initial payment. All cancellations will incur a $75 cancellation fee. Any changes or cancellation inside of the specified time period may result in a partial to full loss of your security deposit plus a loss of one night’s stay if the cancellation is within 48 hours of the arrival date. If the rental period is thirty days or longer, 20 % of the rental rate is non-refundable if the cancellation is within ten days of the check in date. If the rental payment was processed on a credit card, a 4% handling fee is deducted from the cost of the rental payment. Please note that this does not include St Patrick's Day week or the Rock & Roll Marathon weekend. Due to the popularity of these time periods, there is a NO CANCELLATION policy in effect. No refunds will be given for any cancellations over St Patrick's Day week and the Rock & Roll Marathon weekend.
Security deposit
The return of all security deposits are contingent upon no items being damaged or missing upon departure. Furniture is not to be moved at this property. There is to be NO SMOKING in the property. Any evidence contrary to this such as strong smells, debris, etc. found inside the property may result in fines equal to or greater than the security deposit. Smoking trash such as butts, ashes, etc. must be thrown away in trash receptacles outside of the property. Please note whether or not pets are accepted in this particular property (will be stated on the property listing and email confirmation). If this property does accept pets, any and all pets must be approved by the property owner. If the property does not accept pets, any evidence of pets inside this property may result in a fine equal to or greater than the security deposit. All trash or discarded items should be placed in trash receptacles in or outside the property. The property is to be found in good order (i.e., no excessive cleaning to be required). You are not required to launder sheets and towels upon departure. Provided no issues arise, all security deposits are mailed back exactly one week from the departure date.
Parking
Savannah Getaways and the property owner are in no way responsible for any parking tickets, fees or fines that you may incur during your stay. It is the renter’s sole responsibility to abide by all parking procedures and regulations that are enforced by the City of Savannah.
Late Arrivals
Savannah Getaways and emergency contacts for assigned properties are available Monday through Friday from 9 am to 9 pm EST and Saturdays and Sundays from 1 pm to 8 pm EST. Please keep this in mind when planning for your arrival time to your rental property. Assistance may not be available after office hours to deal with entry issues, property issues, etc. If you experience any issues after office hours please call in and leave us a message or email to let us know and we will get back with you as soon as possible.
Early check in / Late checkouts
Average check in times are at 4 pm or anytime after. Average check out times are at 10 am. Please observe the designated check in and check out times as they are listed in your confirmation email. Any early check in or late checkout requests must be approved by Savannah Getaways and may be subject to a charge. Housekeeping staffs are on a tight schedule and in most cases are turning multiple properties in the same day. It is very important that housekeeping has the time they require to prepare the unit for the next reservation. Violations of your check in and check out times will result in a minimum $50 fine and may result in the full cost of an additional day’s stay.
Approved # of guests
There are limits to the number of people allowed in this property. All guests must be approved by Savannah Getaways prior to the arrival date. Any violation of this may result in the termination of the rental with no refund.
If the property becomes unavailable
If for any reason, the property you rented becomes unavailable (such as being sold, damaged, etc.), Savannah Getaways will be glad to assist you with booking another property of equal value or upgrade when available, or offer you a full refund of any monies paid. Neither the owners / employees of Savannah Getaways, nor the property owner are liable for any other expenses involved surrounding this transaction.
Left items at the property
Savannah Getaways' owners, employees, property owners, housekeepers, etc. are not responsible for left items at the property. A minimum $25 charge will be deducted from the security deposit for returning any left items at the property. The return charge will depend primarily on the time and expense involved with the return. If the security deposit has already been returned, the items will not be shipped back until the return cost has been collected.
Lock outs
Response calls to customer lock outs may be subject to a charge depending upon the specific circumstances, time of day and to the type of response required.
Allergy Sufferers
Prior to booking a vacation rental, you may wish to strongly consider whether or not this is the best option for you if you suffer from any severe allergies. Many of these properties are very old and may not be ideal for someone suffering from allergies. A particular property may accept pets, allow smoking or may have a neighboring unit that does. Any guests requiring special needs such as specific types of pillows, bedding, humidifiers, etc. will need to bring their own items into the property. These properties are self-catering accommodations. If the amenities provided do not meet with your preferences you will be required to bring in your own needs. You may want to keep this in mind as there would not be a refund if the property did not work out for these reasons. We do want you to enjoy your stay with us and certainly not experience any discomforts.
Partying or Noise Complaints
It is our main concern that you truly enjoy your visit to Savannah. With this in mind, please remember to pay respect to the surrounding units and properties. Any excessive noise complaints, loud partying, disrespectful or disruptive behavior may result in the police being called or ejection from the property with no refund.

If you experience any issues during your stay that you feel are worthy of attention please contact us immediately. We will make every attempt to deal with any issues in a timely and professional manner. Please note that we cannot address any issues to your satisfaction if we are notified after the stay.
